CAREER EXPLORATION GUIDE (My Journey)

CAREER EXPLORATION INGREDIENTS:

STEP 1: WORK VALUES TEST (What is important to you in a career?)
**Create an actual document that contains the results of your Work Values Test.
**Be sure to include the top 4 Values (with percentages). Summarize each value.

STEP 2: PERSONALITY TEST (Who you are and what are your strengths?)
**Record the results of your Personality Test.
**Be sure to list your Big Five Personality Traits (with percentages). Summarize your top 2.

STEP 3: TEAM ROLES TEST (What kind of team player are you?)
**Record the results of your Team Roles Test.
**Be sure to list how you best work as a team member. Summarize this role.

STEP 4: JUNG PERSONALITY TEST (What kind of psychological type are you according to jung?)
**Record the results of your Jung Personality Test.
**Be sure to list your "Jung Types." Based on your psychological types, what types of jobs best fit you?

STEP 5: CAREER TEST (What type of work environment and occupation suits you best?)
**Record the results of your Career Test.
**What is your personal Holland Code? What are 5 of your "Suggested Occupations" from the list that most interest you?

WHEN I GROW UP

**Access the "When I Grow Up" virtual workbook.
**Work through the pages to explore career lessons and activities. Numbers begin 1a, 1b, 1c, 2a, 2b, 2c, etc.
**Be sure to answer each question as you go. As your final grade, you will print and submit the "workbook."
**Use the space on page 10: Interviewing and the Power of 30 to write the script for your 30 minute commercial.
